Bowlero is THE place to bowl! Our kids and grandkids all learned to bowl at this location before it was transformed into Bowlero. At that time it was the one and only bowling alley in Murrieta, CA. It’s now the one and only of it’s kind in Murrieta! It’s totally been redone, updated and uniquely refurbished. Bowlero’s lighting is a must see especially for a cosmic bowling experience. It’s now where our family wishes they had learned to bowl. Both generations spent many family bowling outings, Cub Scout activity days, birthday parties, and school ‘lock-down’ bowling events. This bowling location has been part of our lives since it originally opened well over twenty years ago. We were excited to recently be invited to the Grand Opening of Bowlero Murrieta. We can’t thank Bowlero enough for an afternoon of bowling, good food, arcade fun and the opening festivities. The transformation is amazing!
Bowlero is conveniently located in Murrieta on California Oaks Road. Our family is in agreement: the all new Bowlero Murrieta is awesome! From the arcade to the cosmic bowling, from the pro shop to the food truck, everyone from grandpa on down to our 13-year old granddaughter had a blast!
With 40 bowling lanes, there’s plenty of room for lots of friendly competition. The fully automated score board makes for bowling fun, no matter the skill level. Bowlero also provides ball ramps (for those who cannot hold a ball and throw it), and bumpers (to keep the ball out of the gutters). These alone are big helps for children, those with special needs, and newbies.
We loved the theme throughout Bowlero, especially the brightly colored bowling balls. I bowled with an 8 pound Pink ball (yes, pink!). And more importantly, the ball had finger grip choices that my small hand fit into. It made it effortlessly to hold!
I also loved all the lockers and knowing that when the grand kids are bowling with friends, they can lock up their valuables for safe keeping.
The food options at Bowlero are delicious, to say the least. You can order meals and snacks at the Food Truck or have it served laneside. The menu is much larger than I expected, with starters like wings, cauliflower bites, nachos, and sliders. And Pizza choices include a gluten-free option. Bowl Appétit with hotdogs, wraps, sandwiches and burgers. Salads, desserts, a variety of beverages and Kid’s Meals. Oh! and there are also signature cocktails and beer. Totally something for everyone, including vegan me!
The deluxe arcade features state-of-the-art video games and tons of old-school classics. We grandparents had a blast from the past playing Mario Kart and Pac-Man. Believe you me, we showed the teen grand kids how those games are played!
You can watch the big game on the HD flat-screen TV in the Sports Bar, with craft beer options, wine, or any of Bowlero’s signature cocktails. You can also play a game of billiards or play corn hole.
Pictured is the unofficial mascot for Bowlero. He brings a smile to my face every time I look at him. I do however think he needs to kick back, bowl a few games, and smile a little himself. Seriously! Ha!!
Another one of the fun Bowlero options is Cosmic Bowling. The alley is lit with black lights and adds a unique atmosphere to all the fun. We bowled with the cosmic effect and the grandkids loved it! zWe did too!
Bowlero has a variety of party and event selections. There are choices from party size, to menu options, and so much more. Our granddaughter is already putting her birthday party bowling plans together for next month!
So, if you’re looking for family fun, party fun, or an adult night out (with a bit of competition!), remember the all new Bowlero. You can even make online reservations. There are also opportunities to join social clubs and leagues for every skill level. How about that? I still remember playing in a bowling alley child care center when I was a preschooler while my mother bowled in a league. I’m not going to even say how long ago that was.
David says: Fun bowling! Great food! Excellent service from the attentive and friendly staff! Everyone enjoyed the Bowlero experience very much.
Cathi says: I had a blast bowling with the teen grandkids. Especially when Cody got a strike! I was over the top excited for him. I was also surprised with the workout I got bowling.
Cody says: Bowling at Bowlero was fun! I enjoyed it more this time than the last time I bowled. Of course it’s always more fun when you get a strike!
Kennedy says: Bowlero is super fun! The arcade is amazing and I loved the pizza. Especially being able to order from our bowling lane and having it delivered. Next time I want the Behemoth Burger!
