“Build bridges; don’t destroy them. Even when you are not at fault, perhaps especially when you are not at fault, let love conquer pride. If you do this, whatever adversity you are facing will pass.”
~ Dieter F. Uchtdorf
I can’t help but think this message was directed at me. I’ve discovered, as time goes by (and I have more birthdays), I’m not much of a people pleaser. It may be lack of patience on my part for those around me. Or emotional wounds that may not have healed.
But reading this quote by Elder Uchtdorf has given me a lot to think about. I know I’m willing to do most anything to keep adversity at bay. And if that means building bridges and/or repairing broken ones, then so be it. Count me in.

You are so welcome Carrie! I have a few bridges that I need to walk away from but I need to say “I forgive you” first. For me, not necessarily for the other person. 😉
