You may have noticed that David and I do our best to eat a healthy organic diet. To go along with our smoothie obsession, we’ve recently discovered smoothie bowls. One of our favorites is this delicious detox green smoothie bowl.
You get all the goodness of roasted almond butter, white beans, roasted almonds and avocado then power the recipe up with an added hit of avocado for healthy fats. We love adding frozenspinach which is an extremely nutrient-rich containing high amounts of carotenoids, vitamin C, vitamin K, folic acid, iron and calcium. Added ginger will aid in repairing inflammation and soothing the stomach.

Ingredients for 1 serving:
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
- 2 scoops or about 1/3 pint of Reveri Vanilla Almond Blossom
- ½ ripe Avocado
- 1 cup Fresh Spinach
- 1” slice of Fresh Ginger
- ½ cup of Grass Fed Plain Yogurt or Kefir
- 3/4 cup Coconut or Almond Milk
- 1 cup Coconut Water
- 1 tbsp Hemp Seeds or about 7-8 Walnuts
- 1 scoop of Protein Powder if you feel like you need the extra “body repair” boost.
- 1 tbsp of Honey is optional if you want a little sweetener
- 3-4 ice cubes
Optional toppings:
- Pineapple chunks
- Chia Seeds
- Sliced almonds
Directions:
- Place all ingredients in the blender and blend well.
- You will want your smoothie to be fairly thick so that you can eat it with a spoon.
- Add a few more ice cubes if necessary.
- Top with your favorite toppings.
