I’m at the stage in life where everything is about comfort. I want my surroundings to be comfortable, my clothes to be comfortable, and my shoes to be comfortable. Comfortable shoes are especially important to me because I rarely ever go barefoot. Fact is, about the only place I’m ever barefoot is in our hot tub or upstairs in the house. I step into slippers as soon as I come downstairs in the morning. That’s why my feet and I are thrilled to partner with Arcopédico!
Now I want to shout from the rooftop: “Arcopédico! Where have you been all my life?!?”

Can you tell I’m over the moon crazy in love with Arcopédico? For the last several years my feet have been giving me a whole lot of grief. And I’m here to tell you… if your feet aren’t happy… other body parts tend to join the pity party. For me it’s my back and sciatica. Needless to say I do everything I can to keep my feet happy.
Okay, so here’s my story:
Some time ago my right foot started hurting. It wasn’t injured, but every evening it gave me grief with sharp pains and aches. The first few months I didn’t think much about it. I thought maybe it had to do with me taking up walking a few miles every morning. I finally did some research and decided I quite possibly had a bunion. My older sister required bunion surgery years ago, so it seemed reasonable that I might have the same issue. Fast forward to my appointment with the podiatrist. David’s with me. I’m perched on the end of the examining table. Dr. “Foot Doctor” comes in, introduces himself, and asks why I’m there. I said, “I think I might have a bunion” (singular!). He excitedly exclaimed, “Oh, yes. You do have bunions. And flat feet and hammer toes!”
WHAT?!? I still think that doctor likes his job way too much!
But he was right. After many years my feet are making demands I have to address or I’m in for a world of pain and discomfort.
So why am I over the top impressed with Arcopédico?
All Arcopédico shoes have two simple fundamental designs principles that make them so comfortable:
- The “barefoot” upper is a soft, non-binding design that conforms to the top of the foot and allows circulation and all day comfort.
- The patented, metal-free twins arch-support soles which protect the foot arch and allows the distribution of body weight throughout the entire plantar surface.
Those two design principles provide comfort. And that equates to happy feet!
Arcopédico offers a variety of styles: from boots to mules to sandals. You’re sure to find a style to fit your needs and wants. There are also several different materials to choose from including washable vegan shoes.
I’m loving my new Arcopédico Milan II boots. I’ve worn them both rolled down (as in the above photo) and straight up. They provide excellent support. Because of the twin arch support it’s not necessary to add my own doctor recommended inserts. They are amazingly comfortable, made with Arcopédico’s patented Lytech knit upper, and with a soft, warm synthetic fur lining. The Lytech Line of shoes are BioCalce Certified, eco-friendly, vegan, water-resistant and biodegradable.
My L19 is my favorite bootie They’re made with the Lytech upper which makes them lightweight and breathable. Like the Milan the L19 is vegan and offers a flexible barely-there feel which promotes healthy circulation. The side zipper and twin arch support seriously make this my all-time favorite shoe EVER!!
Another big plus about Arcopédico shoes, depending on the style, is most are machine washable. How about that?
I admit I’ve yet to throw a pair of mine in the washing machine . But when the time arrives, I certainly will not hesitate to do so!
