Homemade Alfredo Sauce
Oh my Goodness! This is the most delicious Alfredo Sauce we have ever had.
It’s quick and easy to make with simple ingredients that you might already have in your fridge and pantry.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
2 cups heavy cream
3 cups grated fresh parmesan cheese
2 – 3 cloves garlic
1/4 cup fresh parsley – chopped
Directions:
1. Melt 1/2 cup butter in a large sauce pan.
2. Crush 2 – 3 cloves garlic.
3. Add 2 cups heavy cream to the melted butter. Slowly bring to a simmer and add the crushed garlic.
4. Add 3 cups grated parmesan cheese and stir until cheese is melted. It won’t completely melt. There will be small bits of delicious parmesan throughout the sauce.
5. Add 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley and serve with pasta of choice.
