We love starting the day with healthy protein packed smoothies and smoothie bowls. We’ve found this Maca Smoothie Bowl to be a good source of carbs and protein and… it’s low in fat, high in some essential vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin C, copper and iron.

This makes a perfect breakfast for our vegan diet.

Ingredients for 1 serving:
- 1 large frozen banana
- 1/2 cup Chocolate Almond Milk, plus more if necessary
- 2 scoops or about 1/3 pint of Chocolate Forrest Reveri
- 1/2 cup spinach
- 1 full teaspoon Maca powder
- 2-3 ice cubes
Optional Toppings:
- Almond Butter
- Granola
- Sliced Toasted Almonds
- Chia seeds or flax seeds
- Sliced Bananas
- Fresh Strawberries
- Coconut flakes
- Chocolate chips or cocoa nibs
Directions:
- Add all ingredients EXCEPT toppings to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
- You will want your smoothie to be fairly thick so that you can eat it with a spoon.
- If needed add a few extra ice cubes.
- Pour into a bowl and top with desired toppings
