Our nephew was married this week and … we have two more weddings on the calendar in the next few weeks. I love weddings. It’s the beginning of a whole new life for two people who head over heels in love. They have the opportunity to start new. The chance to start their own family and traditions while taking the best from both their families and leaving what they want the behind.
We usually give a game or satin embroidered pillow cases for a gift. This week we gave our nephew and his new bride, cold hard cash. I’m sure it was an added pleasure as they left for their honeymoon in Cancun.
How about you? Do you have a go to gift for weddings or do you get ideas from the wedding registry?

OMG. Giving a game as a wedding gift is SUCH a great idea! I may have to borrow that one.

I usually stick to the registry for wedding gifts, but I like your board game idea.

I usually hope the bride has a registry and then it’s easier to know what to get.

I like to give a couples journal, that they can both write in and document their lives together. I wish someone had given one to us when we got married!!

I usually get ideas from the gift registry then put together a custom gift basket based on their interests. 😉 Love the board game idea!
