I am a huge catalog shopper and when I saw this pan in the Solutions catalog over a year ago I knew I had to have it. I am after all, married to the #1 chocoholic, brownie loving man of all time. Sometimes I double the recipe just so he can lick the bowl.
A few weeks ago I made a double batch of Ghirardelli Brownies in my new find. It was the first time I used the pan and the brownies were absolutely heavenly. NY, along I believe with everyone else on the planet, loves the chewy edges of brownies. With this unique and fun pan, every brownie has chewy edges. While snooping around on the Bakers Edge website I discovered many other ideas for the pan like cookie bars, cheese cake, bread and lasagna. Wow! I wouldn’t have thought of making lasagna in it, but why not? The possibilities are endless!
With the Edge Brownie pan it’s also easy to customize each pan section with or without nuts, raisins or whatever. The walls keep everything separate and the brownies bake evenly.

I saw one of these earlier and I think the concept is amazing! For right now though, Curt eats the middle of the regular square pan and I eat the edges, so it works.
