I have a sewing room upstairs (we call it the attic) but with my mom staying with us and not being able to let her out of my sight, I decided to bring my sewing machines and current projects downstairs in hopes of getting some “me” time (I know…I’m selfish).
As I walked through the dining room I realized that everything was pink.
It made me smile!
The bright pink on the right will be a darling little dress for Kennedy. The denim and pink plaid jumper is brand new but too short for her so I’m adding a denim ruffle at the bottom. The pink and lavender draped over the sewing machine to the left is another summer dress for Kennedy and the white with pink flowers behind the sewing machine is a nightgown for her. The bright pink handbag? I just tossed that in because it’s a favorite of mine!!

Had the Grands for a few days so I am a day late and a dollar short for Pink Saturday! We just had so much fun and time got away from me☺
But, I didn't want to miss all the pinkness that brings sunshine to my weekend. And, another cool, sun-less day. My gardens look horrible this year. Nothing is growing…sigh.
So, your sweet blog post is cheering me up! Thanks so much for giving me something pretty to look at other than the dark clouds outside my kitchen window.

Fun pinks! I love all the fabrics – what a difficult choice to settle on just one! And lucky you for having a sewing room to stash everything away when you've finished.
Happy Pink Saturday! (Big apologies for not visiting sooner – it's been a hectic week for me, and I was teaching Saturday AND Sunday, so this is my first chance to blog-hop).
