We’ve been trying to find the perfect trees/bushes to plant along our back fence. We need to have something that will serve as a privacy barrier but we want it to be pretty too.
While out and about the other day we came across these gorgeous pink trees.
We have no idea what they are though.
Mostly we see them growing in parking lots.
Do you know what kind of tree this beauty is?

They look sort of like our Crepe Myrtle trees that are all over Texas….we've got white, purple, pink etc!

They are Crape Myrtle trees. We have a few, and a beautiful one we got on our 10th anniversary almost 20 years ago. The multiple trunk ones are the most lovely. They flower in spring, and turn gorgeous orange colors in the fall.

Oh, and BTW, at least in TX they wouldn't be good for a privacy barrier…..no leaves or flowers in winter (just bare)! 🙂 Maybe in California it would be different. I do love our trees though.
