The other day I was in the front yard with Cody. “Look Grandma, the tree is red and orange and yellow!” Our lone liquid amber tree is a testimony that autumn has come and winter is settling in. This is a rare sight in where we live.
So rare that yesterday, before our gardeners arrived, I went out and raked up all the beautiful colored leaves and put them in a box.
After the gardeners were gone I put the leaves back under the tree where they belong. It truly is a delightful sight.

Dennis and had to LOL — you are a nut!! We have so many leaves in our back yard it takes weeks to get them all hauled away (and our yard is small) — but leaves are apart of life in the fall in Utah. Cathi — you are a nut!!! Only you would do such a thing … I love it!!
